A program measures pixels, not the effect a photo has on a guest. It cannot tell whether the framing makes the room look smaller, whether the lines are crooked, whether the cover is the right photo or whether the home looks colder than it is. No. The check runs entirely in the browser on your device: the images are not sent or stored anywhere.
The check covers the technical requirements. A listing can meet all of them and still not persuade guests, because of the light, the framing, the photo order or the cover. The most common causes are in Why your Airbnb is not getting bookings.
Airbnb asks for at least 1024 × 683 pixels; Booking.com asks for at least 2048 × 1080 and recommends 4000 × 3000. Both want landscape photos.
